Who is preparing for the National Ugly Sweater day? December 21st is known at National ugly sweater day when everyone brings out their ugly sweaters for the holidays and wears it. This day was created in order to bring out the holiday spirit of people during the holidays. American's are obsessed with Christmas and the kind of magical feelings that it brings. Christmas is a time of Jingle Bell, presents, Santa Clause, family gatherings, delicious food and UGLY SWEATERS. Something about these ugly sweaters really give off the holiday spirit. So most people don't know about National Ugly Sweater Day, which is why I am writing about it in my blog post. I think it's such a fun day to participate in, just to really get into te spirit of Christmas. Christmas season is probably the one time in the year when everyone is in a jolly mood (in most cases) and people are on the Christmas high. I think it would be great if our nation as a whole could participate in this evident to show unity in our country and the joy of Christmas. I know what most of you guys are thinking...it's just a sweater and it's true. However it's the Christmas spirit that we are trying to maintain. So whether you are at work, school, on vacation, or hanging out with friends on the 21st wear your ugly Christmas Sweaters to show your holiday spirit and cheer.
